Wireless Infra-Red Beams

The SENTRY Wireless Infra-Red Beam system comprises of a transmitter unit and a receiver unit. The receiver is hardwired to 12V/24V and the transmitter unit is powered using two AA 1.5V batteries. The products utilize a modulated 840nm wavelength Infra-Red Beam, which ascertains that false triggers are kept minimal without compromising product performance. The pair of units are rated to be installed at a maximum distance of 15m apart without any obstacles between them in the line-of-sight. The SENTRY Wireless Infra-Red Beams are compatible with all sliding gate operators, roll-up garage door operators, and swing gate operators, and may even be used as perimeter beams for an alarm system. The units are housed in matching opaque, aesthetically designed enclosures that protect beam signal integrity and filter out light pollution to improve performance during the daytime. The wireless option is installer and user friendly and includes embedded on-board battery status alerts in the transmitter unit to inform the owner that the battery capacity level is depleting or running low.
