The SENTRY French 1 Button 403MHz Radio Frequency Transmitter utilizes an internal DIP switch as a basis to generate the rolling code for its encrypted transmissions. Each button-press event is uniquely encrypted by the French modulation protocol making the French code protocol relatively resilient against eavesdropping and code grabbing. The SENTRY products that are equipped with the French modulation protocol are legacy products and many of the legacy products are forward compatible with the newer products containing embedded technology to learn the legacy code modulation protocol supporting products.
